Katt Schau
Receptionist (Part-Time)
Katt Schau has been part of the veterinary community for three years, bringing her skills and dedication to the Animal Clinic of Eagle Harbor. As a part-time weekend receptionist, Katt prides herself on her patience and her ability to ask the right questions to ensure the best care for every patient. She excels at communicating complex information in a way that pet owners can easily understand, making sure they feel informed and confident in their pet’s care.
Outside the clinic, Katt is a high school history teacher, sharing her passion for education with her students. She loves going on trips, hiking, and spending quality time with her golden retriever, Goose, and her boyfriend. Whether she’s at the beach or the gym—her two favorite places—Katt enjoys staying active and making the most of her free time.
Catherine Cary
Receptionist
Catherine Cary is the newest face at the Animal Clinic of Eagle Harbor, having joined the team just a month ago. As a receptionist, she takes great pleasure in helping both people and their pets, ensuring every visit is a positive experience. Her passion for animals extends beyond the clinic—Catherine loves spending her free time riding her horse, taking her dog on walks and runs, and staying active with regular workouts. Catherine is excited to continue growing in her role and making a difference in the lives of the pets and families she serves.
Cappy Rackley
Assistant Receptionist
Cappy, the assistant receptionist at Animal Clinic at Eagle Glen, has been providing excellent customer service since 1989. She is dedicated to educating clients and helping with internal training to ensure smooth operations.
Outside of work, she enjoys training and competing with her Border Collie, Dug, who is certified in both AKC and UKC obedience. She also volunteers her time with the Furr Foundation Cat Rescue, sharing her love for animals beyond the clinic.
Kelly
Receptionist and Assistant
Meet Kelly Kendall, a dedicated Receptionist and Assistant at the Animal Clinic of Eagle Harbor. With 20+ years of experience under her belt. Kelly takes pride in continuing to learn new skills, providing excellent customer service, and being compassionate/empathetic as well as getting to know her clients/pets so well.
When she’s not at the clinic, she enjoys cooking, reading, spending time with her cats and pugs, Sunday Fun days with her family, and listening to vinyl records. She is a Huge Dave Matthews Band Fan!

Mackenzie Brayer
Receptionist and Assistant
Meet Mackenzie Brayer, a dedicated Receptionist and Assistant at the Animal Clinic of Eagle Harbor. With three years of experience under her belt since February 2021, Mackenzie takes pride in working alongside a hardworking team of women. She’s passionate about educating clients on everything from vaccines and preventive care to their pets’ behavioral needs.
Mackenzie was homeschooled for general studies and is gearing up to attend Highland Canine Training in the winter of 2025, where she’ll become certified in basic obedience behavior modification. When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her indulging in arts and crafts, teaching her two-year-old Labrador Retriever, Oliver, new tricks, playing video games, or enjoying Disney movies.
Kassidy Tucker
Vet Tech Student
Kassidy Tucker is a dedicated Vet Tech student at the Animal Clinic of Eagle Harbor with four years of hands-on experience in the veterinary field. Currently studying at SJC, Kassidy is passionate about making animals feel more comfortable in what can often be scary situations. She prides herself on her ability to ease the fears of pets, ensuring that every visit is as stress-free as possible.
Outside of the clinic, Kassidy enjoys unwinding by playing video games and listening to music, combining her love for relaxation and creativity.
Ruby Oliver
Veterinary Assistant
Ruby Oliver has been practicing as a Veterinary Assistant at the Animal Clinic of Eagle Harbor for a year and a half. Currently, she’s pursuing her education to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), driven by her passion for constantly growing and learning new things every day. Ruby takes great pride in her ability to adapt and expand her knowledge in veterinary medicine, ensuring that she provides the best care possible for her patients.
When she’s not at the clinic, Ruby enjoys spending time taking care of her farm animals and riding her dirt bike. Her love for animals extends beyond her work, making her dedication to veterinary medicine truly shine.
Morgan Ronsonet
Vet Assistant
Morgan Ronsonet is a dedicated Vet Assistant at the Animal Clinic of Eagle Harbor with five years of experience. A graduate of Harcum College, Morgan takes pride in building strong, trusting relationships with both patients and their owners. Her ability to work quickly and effectively, coupled with a deep understanding of patient needs and behaviors, makes her a vital part of the team. Morgan is also skilled in surgery, patient care, lab work, catheter placement, and client education.
In her free time, Morgan loves taking walks and training her dogs, spending quality time with her family and husband, traveling, enjoying the beach, and expressing her creativity through painting and knitting.
Abby Fishaw
LVT
Abby Fishaw is a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) at the Animal Clinic of Eagle Harbor. She has been in the veterinary field for 18 years, with 15 of those as a licensed technician.
A graduate of Northern Virginia Community College, Abby takes great pride in maintaining excellent client communication and delivering exceptional patient care.
Outside of work, she enjoys practicing yoga, cooking, and spending quality time with her family.
Shelly Chandler
LVT
With four years of experience, Shelly Chandler brings a strong dedication to patient advocacy and client education to the Animal Clinic of Eagle Harbor. A proud graduate of San Juan College, Shelly is passionate about working with large dogs that others may find intimidating, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve. She continually seeks to expand her skills, striving to be the most well-rounded veterinary technician she can be.
Outside of her work, Shelly enjoys solving puzzles, tending to her yard, and cherishing moments with her husband, children, and close friends and family.
Melissa
Practice Manager, LVT
Melissa is the Practice Manager and a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) at AC of Eagle Harbor. With 18 years of experience in veterinary medicine, she has been part of the team since 2009 and officially earned her license in 2017.
A graduate of San Juan College, Melissa is passionate about providing quality care, educating clients, and promoting innovation and efficiency in all aspects of patient care.
In her free time, she enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Beth McCrary
Veterinarian
Dr. Beth McCrary has been serving the Hampton Roads community since 1996. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine, she specializes in small mammal medicine and surgery. Dr. McCrary values building lasting relationships with both her clients and their pets, and is dedicated to making her patients feel as comfortable as possible. She shares her home with a dog named Spaz and two cats, Mary Kate and Hailey. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, caring for her koi pond, and relaxing with audiobooks.
Dr. Kathryn Bouvier
Veterinarian
With over 44 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Dr. Kathryn Bouvier is a seasoned and compassionate veterinarian at the Animal Clinic of Eagle Harbor. A graduate of Tuskegee University, where she earned her degree in 1980, Dr. Bouvier has dedicated her career to providing the highest level of care to her patients. Her vast experience allows her to approach each case with a deep understanding and a gentle hand, ensuring that every pet receives the compassionate care they deserve.
Outside of her work at the clinic, Dr. Bouvier enjoys spending her free time horseback riding, traveling to new destinations, and tending to her garden. Her passion for animals and dedication to her craft make her an invaluable member of the team at the Animal Clinic of Eagle Harbor.
